FAYETTE COUNTY SCHOOLS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
Fayette County Schools Alumni Association, Inc. is comprised of former graduates of Fayette County Public High Schools. With a commitment to supporting future generations, members actively raise funds through membership fees, various fundraising events, donations, and collaborative partnerships with local organizations, churches, and businesses. These efforts are focused on providing valuable scholarships to college-bound graduates of Fayette-Ware Comprehensive High School, ensuring that the legacy of education and community support continues to thrive.
Our primary fundraising event is our annual spring banquet. Each year this gathering promises an evening filled with delicious food, engaging entertainment, and a strong sense of community. For more information on this event, please visit our Alumni Banquet page.

Over the last few years, we have awarded more than one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) in financial assistance to over six hundred (600) students.
OUR HISTORY
In 1983, the Fayette County Training School's Alumni Association (FCTSAA) was established by a dedicated group led by the Mr. Robert "Bob" Reed, who wanted to give back to the community that inspired FCTS students to pursue their dreams. Among the attendees at the inaugural meeting were Christine Lewis, Margaret Thurman Pruitt Elroy Jones, the late Rosie Coleman Jones, and Floyd Bonner. Subsequently, the organization’s name was changed to the Fayette County Schools Alumni Association, Inc., to encompass all public high schools within Fayette County. The Fayette County Schools Alumni Association, Inc. (FCSAA) was created to provide financial assistance to college-bound graduating seniors from public high schools in Somerville, Tennessee.

In 2002, the association was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in the state of Tennessee and received our 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS in 2003, ensuring that all contributions are tax-deductible.
